Google Sites for Portfolios

There are as many ways to present portfolios are there are students. One new application I discovered last summer when I was taking my Google Certified Educator exams is Google Sites. There are extremly simple and easy to use, and can be visually appealing for teenagers. It helps to know that the work the student is producing can be “real life” content, available on the web for others to learn from – or just make it private with the switch of a button. Students can even create links to each other’s sites, making collaboration between friends a possibility.

Here is a blog from Shake Up Learning with a little more explanation and some sample student sites. h
