When a disability is no longer a disability…

Once upon a time, having a significant “learning disability” was considered to be a real handicap in life – a sign of no academic future and a lifelong minimum wage jobé Then along came the 21st century, and an understanding of how people really learn, and of the value of diversity and inclusion for all kinds of learners. Now, everyone wants to use the “special tools” for exceptional students – simply because they work well and are often more effective in the real life market place.
